Firenze

These four early Renaissance Commedia dell' Arte post cards were purchased from Signum in 2001, while traveling with my mother, Monique and my daughter Alexandra.

This exquisite little paper bag came from the incredible stationary and paper shop in Florence. You can even go to their website. http://www.signumfirenze.it/

Ahh L'Amour

" Tis better to have loved and lost, Than never to have loved at all" said Mr. Alfred Tennyson.

This 1957 Peter Pauper Press Book is called " L'AMOUR" . Decorations by Ruth McCrea;

She has captured some very powerful symbols of love. I love the champagne coupes !

my friend joan

my friend Joan, was showing me these wonderful photographs that Mike Randall took during our recent 17 year Cicada return. Since I'm from the Pacific Northwest , I've never experienced or seen these wonderful creatures. All my friends kept me informed and up to date on this phenomenon. I found them to be magical and a very fascinating way to connect with nature. Thanks Joan for sharing !

Joy Joy

I met the artist and her mom on Saturday , at the Evanston Central Street Family Fair. She came from China and has another sister named Joy from So.Korea. That is why she is named Joy Joy ! She just turned 11. Her Mom is writing a book about her family and otheradopted sisters, and the miracles that can happen. All the proceeds that she made on Saturday will be going to "LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDRIES". I wished her Good Luck and she said "Thank You & Keep on Smiling"

papierluv

Welcome to papierluv. This will be fun. As I'm writing this, I do realize the irony of writing on a paperless medium. Never the less, I'll be sharing with you interesting and different images and views I've gathered along the way.
